Nan Rauch (Mrs. Earl) born Feb. 4, 1927, passed on Sept. 18, 2019, at the age of 92 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Blytheville. While she lived in Blytheville, she worked at the Blytheville Courier News as the women's editor. Previous to living in Blytheville, she worked in radio and television in Abilene, Texas, and in Phoenix, Ariz., but writing for the paper in Blytheville was by far the thing she loved most. Upon moving to Blytheville, she found the people there the friendliest she had ever met. Even in the last few years of her life she continued to speak of the Blytheville residents as the greatest people.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Rauch, who worked many years for Cargill in Osceola. She leaves behind one son, Mac Rauch of San Antonio, and three grandchildren, Gaston Rauch of San Ramon, Calif.; Sam Rauch Durham, N.C., and Leon Rauch of San Antonio, Texas.
