Jean Huff Hatley
Jean Huff Hatley, 90, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Jean was born to Willie and Marie Burton Huff in Okolona, Ark. She was the owner of Jeanís Beauty Nook and a beautician for 61 years. She was a charter member of Number Nine Baptist Church and loved the Lord and her church family. She was always quick to share that the Lord was always in control. Jean enjoyed her garden and canning, often sharing her bounty of vegetables with others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Hatley; four brothers, Billy, Arnold, Robert, Bobby and Wayne Huff; and two sisters, Estie Chappell and Sheila Faye Huff.
Jean leaves two children, Kay Meeks and her husband Larry of Ripley, Miss., and Greg Hatley and his wife Leigh Ann of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Jerry Melvin Huff of Georgia; two grandchildren, Garrett Hatley, Tyler Hatley and his wife Lynsey, and one great-grandson, Dawson Hatley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Hurley and Rev. David Poe officiating. Burial will be private.
