Kreed Lindale Vernon

Kreed Lindale Vernon, infant son of Hunter Vernon and Keila Metheny, was born March 8, 2019, in Blytheville and passed from this life Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at his home in Leachville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Steven Dale Vernon, in 2018.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Kevin and Sheila Metheny of Leachville; eight special uncles, Kalen Metheny, Marty White, Richard Stevenson, Jason Scercy, Joe Lambert, Harold Stallings, Eddie Adams and Matthew Miller; seven special aunts, Cassie Randolph, America Clapp, Melinda White, Flossie Sipes, Betty Jo Stevenson, Stella Stallings and Teresa Miller Carmichael; and a host of other family and friends will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Reverend Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday afternoon from 2 p.m. until service time.
