Martin Lee Abner

Martin Lee Abner, 57, of Wilson, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019. He was born Aug. 4, 1962 in Turrell to Jesse L. Abner and Linda Brewer. He worked in construction for a number of years and served in the United States Army for four years. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also a member of the Joiner Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Abner; son, Hollis Abner; grandchildren, Jayda and Madison Abner; brothers, Eric Abner, Kenny Abner and Clint Abner; sisters, Lynn Christian and Tosha Glover; and stepfather, Ernest Brewer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 2 p.m. at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be in Bassett Cemetery.
