Johnnie Goff, 75, of Blytheville passed away Friday, Aug. 30, at Great River Medical Center. The daughter of Nola and John Clark, she was born in Luxora on July 24, 1944. She was baptized at the age of 14 and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

She had a career as a hair dresser before deciding to stay at home to raise her kids. She was also a teachers aid for Burdette Elementary when her son, Bryan, was there attending grade school. This was believed to be so he didn’t have to ride the bus. After her children finished high school, she went to college for her real estate license to sell houses for a brief time before returning home to help Larry run the business. She loved to cook, garden, and taking care of everyone in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Dixie Gardner; nephew Steven Bennett; brother-in-law Homer Smith; her husband of 51 years Larry Goff; and her son, Jason Goff.

She is survived by her son, Bryan Goff, his fiance Gabrielle Graber, and daughter in law Tammy Goff.

Four grandchildren, Annmarie, Eva, Cameron and Hannah Goff; two sisters, Doris Smith and Lyvetta Bennett and her husband Charles; and brother-in-law Billy Gardner.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Joseph Cornelison officiating.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial was in Carney Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
