Dorothy Banks

Dorothy Banks was born Dec. 23, 1936, to the late William Clark and Inell Clark in Itta Bena, Miss. She departed this life on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at her residence in Hernando, Miss., at the age of 82. Her parents preceded her in death,

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Walter Banks Jr. of Hernando, Miss.; three daughters, Penny James and Ann Thomas, both of Blytheville, and Vickey Small of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sons, Luther Viel of O’Fallon, Mo., and Toney Banks of Southaven, Miss.; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:55 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at New Bethel M.B. Church. Service will follow at 12 noon also at the church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Blytheville.
