Nancy Ramey Graham

Nancy Ramey Graham, 69, of Memphis, Tenn., and formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.

Born to Charles and Dixie Evelyn Howard Ramey in Homewood, Ill., and a graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Blytheville and spent several years as a dedicated caregiver for her mother. Her life was devoted to her family as a stay at home mother. For a period of time, she was also employed at the New York Store. As a homemaker she was devoted as a wife and mother to ensuring her family was taken care of and that Christ was the center of each of their lives.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Edward “Jim” Graham, and son, David Stevens.

Nancy is survived by her children, John and Serene Stevens of Memphis, Tenn., Dixie and Scott Pittillo of White Hall; grandchildren, Ellie Grace Stevens, Jackson Stevens, Charlie Stevens, Ramey Pittillo; and brother and sister-in-law, James W. “Jim” and Susan Ramey of Boise, Idaho.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, in the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Mike Wey officiating. The family will host a gathering of friends following the graveside service at 3 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church Parlor located next to the Sanctuary at 1520 North 10th Street in Blytheville. All services are under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the charity of one’s choice.
