Eddie Lee Johnson, 66, of Little Rock, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at his home in Little Rock. He was born May 4, 1953 in Potts Camp, Miss., to James and Freddie Lee Knox Johnson Sr. Eddie graduated from Rivercrest High School, was a machine specialist at American Greetings and a member of Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Freddie Lee Johnson, Sr., and one nephew, James Thomas Johnson III.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lavern Johnson of Blytheville; seven children he raised, Marcus Johnson of Osceola, Angela Parnell, Tonyia Johnson and Antaneise Johnson of Little Rock, Felisha Allen and Jennifer Stewart of Memphis, Tenn., and TyAngela Johnson of Blytheville; seven siblings, James Thomas Johnson, Jr. of Blytheville, Frederick Lee Johnson and Joseph Henry Johnson of Osceola, Robert Ray Johnson of California, Charles Jabaz Johnson AR, Wanda Wilks of Arlington, Texas, and Viola Johnson of Chicago, Ill.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Eddie enjoyed watching wrestling, westerns, and being around family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, Bro. Nathaniel Suiter officiating. The repast will be held at the Osceola Community Center.
