Kenneth Leroy “Buck” Frasher

Kenneth Leroy “Buck” Frasher, 79 of Arbyrd, Mo., passed from this life Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born in Scammon, Kansas, he served in the U.S. Army and had lived much of his life in the Chicago area. He was a retired truck driver and had lived in Arbyrd since 1997.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Bettye Lou Miller Frasher; two brothers, Jess John Frasher, Jr. and Larry J. Frasher; and two sisters, Betty Smith and Janet Anselmo.

Survivors include one stepson, Dewey Gene Hyde, Jr. (Bozena Barbara) of Elmhurst, Ill.; granddaughters, Antoinette Marie Dobric (Stevan) and Victoria Ann Stramel (Daniel); great-granddaughters, Ava Antoinette Dobric and Ella Stevana Dobric; two brothers, Ronnie Frasher and Harold Frasher; sisters, Shirley Noble, Donna Kotas, Linda Pinkard and Joyce Loader. He also leaves one brother-in-law, Herbert Julius Miller, and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Campbell.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 5-8 at the funeral home.
