Gayla Ware Gilvin

Gayla Ware Gilvin, 72, of O’Fallon, Mo., died July 16, 2019, in St. Louis. Gayla was a 1964 graduate of Manila High School. She served in the Women’s Army Corp and later became a RN. She was a member of O’Fallon Church of Christ.

Survivors include her grandson, Noah Gilvin, two great-grandchildren and her brother, Len Ware.

She was preceded in death by her husband on May 10 and her son in 2009. She was the daughter of the late Byrl and Pauline Ware of Manila.

Funeral services were held at Stygar-Hutchens Funeral Home in St. Charles, Mo. Burial with full military honors was at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
