Dora Augusta Biggerstaff

Dora Augusta Biggerstaff, 80, of Leachville, passed from this life Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Edyth Mae Skidmore Anthony and had lived many years in Wilmington, Ill., before returning to Leachville 20 years ago. Mrs. Dora had worked as a caregiver and was a faithful member of the People of Praise United Pentecostal Church in Leachville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Hector Harris and George Biggerstaff; two brothers, Harold Blocker and Darrell Blocker; and one sister, Genevia Richardson.

Survivors include four daughters, Deana Kilgos, Brenda Burgo, Dawna Kavanaugh (Kevin) and Liz Frailey (Dave); one son, Robert Harris (Forrest); five sisters, Dola Henderson (Frank), Deloras Austin (Bobby), Joan Winstead, Trecia Stiles (Rick), and Becky Leonard; seven grandchildren,

Chris Kavanaugh (Rachelle), Chris Delatorre (Olivia), Jeana Carrico (Maickon), Chad Kavanaugh (Shelby), Lora Kavanaugh, Gabriel Delatorre (Nancy) and Hayley Ritz; seven great-grandchildren,

Chris, Victoria, Conner, Corvin, Aislynn, Tommy and Evelynn; her furbabies, Max and Sasha. She also leaves the father of Deana, Brenda and Dawna, Mr. Dean Davis.

The family wishes to acknowledge Mr. Jim Kilgos.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral and Cremation Service of Leachville.
