Betty Jo Winchester
Betty Jo Winchester, 85, of Blytheville, passed away July 13, 2019 at Heritage Square Nursing Home.
Betty was born to Edgar and Myrtle Frazier Shultz in Blytheville. She retired from Walmart as a department manager and was a lifelong resident of Blytheville. She loved to learn and put herself through college and obtained her Associates Degree in business. Betty loved to draw and paint oil pictures, as well as sewing and writing poems.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Winchester; her parents; two children, Ricky Smith and Deborah Courtright; three brothers, R.A., Gene and Kenneth Shultz; and three sisters, Geneva DuVall, Bobby Beasley and Louise Hall.
Betty is survived by her son, John Michael Smith of Gosnell; and one sister, Mary Ellsworth of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
