Alton Ray Thomas, 78, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at his home. He was born on Feb. 27, 1941, in Manila, to John and Susie Jane McClish Thomas. He was of the Pentecostal faith, enjoyed working on cars, fishing, bowling, baseball, being on his tractor, and games shows, especially “Wheel of Fortune.”

Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Thomas of Gosnell and Veronica Horton (Matthew King) of Blytheville; four grandchildren, Megan Reynolds, Charles Voyles, Autumn Copeland and Alysa Copeland; one sister-in-law, Peggy Thomas of Blytheville; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas; his mother, Susie Jane Watson; his wife, Dianne Marie Fasbender Thomas; two brothers, Harold and J.C. Thomas; and one sister, Faye Hyde.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Manila Cemetery with Mitchell King officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family will receive visitors at Faith Funeral Service on Friday, June 21, from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers are Buddy Thomas, Kenny Thomas, Michael Thomas, Matthew King, and Terry R. Spouse
