Mary Robinson, 89, of Steele, Mo., passed away Monday, June 17, 2019, at her home. She was born March 16, 1930, in Neshoba County, Miss., and was the daughter of George and Pearlie Young Brookshire. Mary was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Steele, where she served as a Mother of the church.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Evelyn Robinson of the home and Dr. Gloria (Alandis) Boyd, also of Steele, Mo.; one sister, Clara Crockett of Tupelo, Miss.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22, at Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, 303 South Walnut Street, Steele, from noon until 1:55 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, where Pastor Gorley is the pastor. Missionary Trakeyla Rhodes will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
McDonald-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of services and arrangements.
