Michael Leon Wilson, 55, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Blytheville to Leon and Gail Wilson, Michael was a graduate of Blytheville High School, Mississippi County Community College and Arkansas State University. Michael was a former instructor at Mississippi County Community College and West Plains High School in West Plains, Mo. He was a member of Clear Lake Baptist Church where he was the music director. He loved magic and music, putting on wonderful magic shows at Westminister Village. He sang a song at his high school graduation that he had written himself and was a three time visitor to the Shakespeare festival in Massachusetts.

Michael leaves his parents, Leon and Gail Wilson of Blytheville; sister, Denine Suthern of Blytheville; niece, Caprice Lee; nephew, Galen Lee; and four great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at Clear Lake Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Earlywine officiating.
