Frankie Johnson Cooper, 70, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Friday, April 19, 2019, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. Born to James “Fat” and Louise Hatfield Johnson in Blytheville, she was a retired employee of Nucor Hickman where she worked in the Quality Control Department. Frankie was a lifelong resident of Blytheville and a member of the Yarbro Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and spending as much time with them as possible. She loved flea markets and for years she and her husband Billy worked, managed and attended flea markets and yard sales all over the area.

In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Cooper; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Cunningham Cooper; brother, James “Jimmy” Thompson; brother in law, Charles Rutledge; and sister in law, Frances Hall Sawyer.

Frankie is survived by her son, James “Double” Cooper of Blytheville; grandchildren, Lisa Jo Parker and husband Shon of Scott City, Mo., Angie Eauclaire of Blytheville and Kim Tarkington of Portageville, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law, Charles and Yvonne Hall of Lawton, Okla., Janice Phillips of Blytheville and Laverne Goneke of Alberta, Ala.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from noon until service time also at Cobb Funeral Home.
