Joy Colston, 81, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at River Oaks Care Center in Steele, Mo.
Joy was born in Blytheville to Robert C. and Prentice Wheeler Coleman. She was a homemaker and a member of Main and 13th Church of Christ and the Parkside Ladies Extension Club. Joy loved music, singing, sewing and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bobbie E. Coleman.
Joy leaves her husband of 63 years, Billy Ed Colston of the home; three children, Tannda Jackson and her husband Steve of Blytheville, Penny Foley and her husband Stan of Huntsville, Texas, and Bryant Colston and his wife Kendra of Cabot; seven grandchildren, Jessica Lefort and her husband Clifton, Megan Dulock and her husband Brad, Lauren Foley, Kaeleigh Colston, Tyrus Colston, Zoe Colston and Clayton Colston; and five great-grandchildren, Jackson Moon and his wife Abbie, Julia Lefort, William Lefort, Stephen Lefort and Ashton Dulock.
The family would like to thank Dr. Arshad and his staff of Hayti, Mo., and River Oaks Nursing Center in Steele.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
