Laura Smith

Laura Smith of Blytheville was born Sept. 16, 1913, in Mississippi to the late Johnny Love and the late Hester Love. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Smith passed away on March 30, 2019, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville at the age of 105.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Love and Hester Love, and her husband, Henry Smith.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Lee Booker of Blytheville; six grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Rev. Burton Furlow officiating, the burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.
