Dulin Fulks, 85, of Gosnell, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Dulin was born to Thomas Aaron and Minnie Maybell Trantham Fulks in Stone County, Arkansas. He was the founder of Fulks Auto Salvage and a lifelong resident of Gosnell. Second only to his wife Betty and his family was his love for demolition derbies, racing cars and hunting dogs. He enjoyed the outdoors, no matter what the weather was like outside. He was the checker king and no one could beat him at a game of checkers. Dulin had a bright smile and was always ready for conversation.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jean Mullins Fulks; his parents; granddaughter, Amie Fulks; siblings, John Franklin Fulks, Bulah May Barham, Leonard Aaron Fulks, Elda Elizabeth Rankin, Willis Everett Fulks, Omer Houston Fulks, Luther Fulks, Otis Melvin Fulks, Della Ida Mullins and Dorothy Jean Friday; and a niece raised like a sister, Lola Hiser.

Dulin leaves his children, Dennis Fulks and his wife Tammie of Gosnell, Stan Fulks and his wife Stacy of Gosnell, Steve Fulks and his wife Shelly of Jonesboro, Nena Gourlay and her husband David of Avondale, Ariz., Tammy Smith of Gosnell and Tim Fulks and his wife Kim of Blytheville; grandchildren, Justin Fulks, Michael Fulks, John Fulks (Hannah), Shawn Fulks, Michelle Curry (Chad), Matthew Fulks (Jacquelyn Moffitt), Gracie Fulks, Chase Smith (Brooke) Alexis Smith, Brian Fulks (Brittany), Blake Fulks (Genevieve) and Jaxon Fulks; great-grandchildren, Sloan and Wren Curry, Savanna Fulks, Matthew Fulks, Michael Fulks, Alivia Smith and very soon to be here Charlotte Fulks; a nephew raised in the home like a brother, Dempsy Barham (Verda); and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Gosnell Healthcare for their love, compassion and care for their dad, and the nurses and doctors at St. Bernards Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Ruddick officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
