Jessie Mae Williams

Jessie Mae Williams was born Oct. 10, 1925 in Dell to the late Willie Williams and the late Ora Coleman Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville. Mrs. Williams passed away on March 3, 2019, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 93.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eddie Williams and two sons, Leroy Williams and Lloyd Williams.

She is survived by two sons, Eddie Williams, Jr. and Randy Williams, both of Newbern, Tenn.; six daughters, Betty Jean Kelly, Eddie Mae Perdue and Dorothy Jean Thompson, all of Blytheville, Annie Mae Lockhart of Chicago, Ill., and Glouristeen Floyd and Delores Susan DeBose, both of Blytheville; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at First Missionary Baptist Church Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. Pastor Odale Jones will be officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.
