Travis James Pearson
Travis James Pearson of Blytheville was born Oct. 28, 1983 in St. Louis, Mo., to Bettie Wimbley Henexson of Blytheville and the late James Pearson, Sr. He was a carpenter, an avid chess player and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Pearson passed away on Feb. 11, 2019, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville at the age of 35.
He was preceded in death by his father James Pearson, Sr. and his stepfather Ronald Dale Henexson.
He is survived by his mother; two brothers Jermaine Wimbley of Nashville, Tenn., and Rodney Wright, Jr. of Blytheville; and his grandparents, Charlie and Lessie Wimbley of Gosnell.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Wilson Funeral in Blytheville, with the funeral being held the following day Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Word of Truth Global Ministries in Blytheville. Bishop Sunny Osagie will be officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.
