Nellie Elizabeth Arnold

Nellie Elizabeth Arnold of Manila, formerly of Tomato, was born July 18, 1923, in Dell to the late William Fredrick Canamore and the late Jenette Rouge Canamore. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Arnold passed away on Feb. 14, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John D. Arnold; two sons, Neal Arnold and Willis Arnold; and four daughters, Nellie Jones, Joyce Cosbey, Wilma Franklin and Gale Arnold.

She is survived by her son John Arnold (Daisy) of Tennessee; three daughters, Lufonda Murphy of Grand Junction, Mich., Elizabeth Thomas (Allen) of Wauchula, Fla., and Mary Arnold of Brownwood, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation was held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. The burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville at a later date.
