Mr. Arthur Bledsoe, 90, of Osceola passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 11, 1928 in Luxora to Robert and Pearlie Bowers Bledsoe. Mr. Bledsoe enjoyed gardening and was of the Baptist faith and was a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cynthia Bledsoe; siblings, William Bledsoe, Lillie Thompson; and his wife, Ervie Lee Bledsoe.

He leaves to forever cherish his love and memories, three daughters, Barbara Bledsoe and Angela Bledsoe both of Osceola and Barbara Williams of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Arthur Bledsoe, of Osceola, and Calvin Bledsoe, Sr. of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Elton Bledsoe of Benton Harbor, Mich.; 21 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Grace Temple Baptist Church, 541 South Poplar Street, Osceola. Reverend Arnie Page is the pastor. Pastor Johnny Williams will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m.
