Eva Dean Herron McMinn

Eva Dean Herron McMinn, 82, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at her home. Eva was born in Montgomery, Ala., to Frank and Ada White Herron. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Eva loved animals. She had numerous animals and enjoyed raising horses, ducks, chickens and hogs. Eva loved and collected porcelain dolls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel McMinn, Sr.; her parents; daughter, Debbie Bradford; five brothers, Billy, Bob, Jack, David and James Herron; and three sisters, Dorothy Dixon, Peggy McMinn and Evelyn Kelly.

Eva leaves four children, Daniel McMinn, Jr. and his wife Crystal of Blytheville, Barbara Jean Brees and her husband Kenneth of Millington, Tenn., Reed McMinn of Osceola and James David McMinn of Blytheville; brother, Roger Herron of Paragould; sister, Betty Riddle of Hardy; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Selvy officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
