Stanley Ray Gable

Stanley Ray Gable, 71, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his home.

Stanley was born in Edmunds, South Carolina to Julian and Gracie Shumpert Gable. He worked at Gosnell Public Schools as the maintenance and transportation supervisor and was a member of Heartland Church in Gosnell. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force. Stanley had a big heart and loved helping people. He enjoyed going to flea markets and picking up pecans. Stanley loved to be outdoors in his garden and working. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Henry Gable.

Stanley leaves his wife, Patty Walker Gable of the home; four children, Randy Ray Gable and his wife Karen, Ricky Gable, Sr. and his wife Stephanie, Ashley Stracener and her husband Dale and Eric Farrell and his wife Ashley, all of Blytheville; four step-children, Angela Walker of Blytheville, Hunter Byrd of Bassett, Jessica Sharp of Blytheville and Amanda Knuth of Blytheville; four brothers, J.D., Charles, Donnie and Bobby Gable, all of Lexington, South Carolina; 13 grandchildren, Halee Gable, Ricky Gable, Jr. and his wife Bryanna, Weston Griggs, Joshua Cross, Jacob Casey, Kristen Sharp, River Knuth, Sadie Knuth, Rylee Sharp, Reece Sharp, Carter Carrello, Anna Lee Pate and Sawyer Byrd; special nephew, Donnie Ray Gable, Jr.; and his best friend, Jack Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Louise Chapel Cemetery in Joiner.
