Mary Ann Bryant Jones

Mary Ann Bryant Jones, age 71 of Blytheville passed from this life on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her home.

Born to Archie Lee and Etta Abbott Bryant in Memphis, Tennessee, she was a resident of Blytheville for the past 50 years. Mary Ann was a retired employee of ACCO and a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church in Steele, Missouri. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family especially going fishing. She also had a special love for her pet dog named Emily, but she referred to her as her baby. One of her fondest memories was riding on her grandson David’s motorcycle. More than anything, it was Mary Ann’s desire for all her family to remember how much she truly loved each of them. Her life was one spent as a faithful wife and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Thomas “Tommy (Little Tom) “Jones Jr.; daughter, Sheila Louise Jones; brother, Edward Wiggington; and sisters, Juanita Williams and Louise Cobetto.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William Thomas “Tom” Jones of the home; grandchildren, William Thomas (Grumpy) Jones III, David Jones, Sarah Jones, Robert Jones; sister and brothers in law, Linda and Larry Plunkett, Louise and David Copeland and Sherman and Jerelean Moody.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 18th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Riley and Cecil Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery and the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
