Thomas Alford Tegethoff

Thomas Alford Tegethoff, 88, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Thomas was born in Gibson, Tennessee to David and Myrtle Reeves Tegethoff. He was a retired civil service employee at Eaker Air Force Base and a member of North Tenth Street Baptist Church. After retirement, Thomas enjoyed building clocks. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Tegethoff; and sisters, Charlene Sellers and Hattie Jenkins.

Thomas leaves his wife, Dorothy Tegethoff of the home; five children, Cindy Helton of Blytheville, Teresa Exline of Jackson, Tennessee, Betty Thompson of Como, Mississippi, Tommy Tegethoff of Paragould and Bill Crowe of Camden, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 6th at 10:00 a.m. at North Tenth Street Baptist Church with Dr. Max Briley officiating. Burial will follow the service at 2:00 p.m. at Eldad Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
