E. D. Bright

E.D. Bright, 75, of Osceola, AR died November 20, 2018, at his home. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bright was born April 19, 1943, in Crawfordsville, AR to Willie and Bertha Bright.

Mr. Bright was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Louise Bright; two sisters, Frankie Bright and Willie Mae Martin, and his brother, Charles Fisher.

Mr. Bright is survived by three sons, Earick (Tiffany) Bright of Houston, TX, Eddie (Dana) Bright Sr. of Osceola, AR and Bryan (Stephanie) Bright of Osceola, AR; two daughters, Octavia Bright-Webb of Osceola, AR and Aundrea Bright of Osceola, AR; three brothers, Eddie (Pamela) Slayton of Atlanta, GA, James (Annette) Slater of Little Rock, AR and Willie (Ruby) Bright of Chicago, IL; six sisters, Lorene Hill, Charlene Johnson, Matilda Smith all of Osceola, AR, Edna Campbell of Denver, CO, Christine Belford, and Dora Taylor both of Chicago, IL; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR. Services will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola, AR with burial following at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, AR, with Rev. James Slater officiating.
