Le Faye King, Sr.

Le Faye King, Sr. of Blytheville was born September 28, 1950 in Blytheville to the late Isadore King, Sr. and the late Richie Lee Johnson King.

He was a retired cook and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam war and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. King passed away on November 6, 2018 at his home in Blytheville at the age of 68.

He is preceded in death by his parents Isadore King, Sr. and Richie Lee Johnson King, one brother Isadore King, Jr., and three sisters Erma Lee Burton, Annie Lee King and Pearline Bridgette.

He is survived by his wife Idella Smith King of Blytheville, one son Le Faye King, Jr of Blytheville, two daughters LaDonna King of Blytheville and Pamela King of Milwaukee, three brothers Henry King (Adline), J.C. King and Alvine King all of Blytheville, two sisters Bobbie Jean King of Gary, IN and Arlethia Mitchell of East St. Louis, IL and two grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at New Immanuel M.B. Church in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Burton Furlow will be officiating. The burial will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis National Cemetery in Memphis. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
