Harold Glenn Cottrell

Harold Glenn Cottrell, 87, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Heritage Square Nursing Home in Blytheville.

Harold was born in Monmouth, Illinois to Lloyd B. and Lena Whitson Cottrell. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Sergeant before retiring, and also retired from Ark-Mo Power. After retirement from Ark-Mo Power, he went to work at H&R Block and later retired from there as well. Harold and his wife Imogene loved to bowl and were in bowling leagues together for many years. He loved to travel and was always on the go, even if was just locally. Harold enjoyed playing cards socially and spending time on the golf course.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Cottrell; his parents; and two brothers, Donald and Richard Cottrell.

Harold leaves eight nieces and nephews, Jim Cottrell, Donna Vandewalle, Shelly Lentz, Joye French, Bobby Powell, Speedy Powell, Nancy Sullivan and Donna Snyder.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 29th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marilyn Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.
