John Ervine Ragan

John Ervine Ragan, 74, died September 24, 2018 at his home in Burdette.

He was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Ragan was born April 23, 1944 in Osceola to J.P. and Sarah Gregg Ragan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy Ragan, one brother David Ragan, five sisters Libby Randolph Kozohorsky, Joyce Catt, Pat Champion, Sue Burgess and Becky Gibson.

He is survived by one son J.P. (Andrea) Ragan of Keiser, three daughters Lona (Ricky) Allen, Alice "Peanut" (Jimmy Merritt) Thrasher and Melissa Shelly (Robert) Walker, Jr. of Osceola, one brother Gary Ragan of Bassett, one sister Debbie Parks of Dresden, TN, 11 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6-8 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR. Funeral will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with burial at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah, AR. Bro. Jerry Weathers is officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
