Bobbie Jean Shelton, 81, of Holly, Mich., formerly of Osceola, Manila and Jonesboro, the widow of Noble Wilson Shelton, passed from this life Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Brookdale of Grand Blanc Assisted Living Center in Holly, Mich. Born and raised in Osceola, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Oleane Harris Reese and a 1955 graduate of Osceola High School. She and her husband later moved to Michigan where she worked as a cashier for Wrigley's Super Market in Rochester. She retired in 1978 and was a former member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Rochester. She enjoyed painting and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Nancy Radford, Elizabeth Dresbach, Becky Jo Cissell and Captola Curry, and one granddaughter, Andrea Shelton-Brown.

Survivors include one son, Barry Shelton and wife Cheryl of Clarkston, Mich.; one daughter, Cindy Shelton Evans and husband Richard of Sparks, Nev.; one brother, Tommy Reese and wife Karen of Jonesboro. She also leaves four grandchildren, Jason Evans, Brian Evans, David Evans and Aaron Shelton.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until service time.
