Rosalie Arnold Patterson

Rosalie Arnold Patterson, 88, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed from this life Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at the Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Monette, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Rosa L. McDonal Arnold and was raised in the Macey Community. A graduate of Monette High School, she had lived in numerous cities throughout the southeast, including Atlanta, New Orleans and Panama City. She and her husband also spent several years in Little Rock where they were members of Trinity United Methodist Church. Rosalie had lived in Jacksonville, Fla., since 2017.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Patterson, Jr. in 2008.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Patterson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Steven Michael Patterson of Sarasota, Fla., and Kimberly Patterson Younkin of Jacksonville, Fla.; two great-grandsons, Michael Ross Younkin and Reed Alan Younkin; and one sister, Barbara Huffstickler of Des Arc.

Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 11:30-12:30 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.
