Jose Mercedes Herrera Mendoza

Jose Mercedes Herrera Mendoza, 42, of Arbyrd, Mo., passed from this life Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico, he was the son of Manuel and Toribia Mendoza Herrera and had been a resident of Arbyrd since 2015 where he was a self-employed automobile mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Karla Judith Grimaldo Herrera; two daughters, Mariana Guadalupe Herrera and Daniela Herrera; three brothers, Manuel Herrera, Ramiro Herrera, Andres Herrera; two sisters, Rosalva Garcia and Beatriz Herrera.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. The family will receive visitors Saturday from noon until service time. Online guest register at www.howardfuneralservice.com.
