Cindy Ray 71 of Blytheville, Arkansas formerly of Steele, Missouri died Wednesday August 8, 2018 at the Phil & Flo Jones Hospice Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born January 18, 1947 in Willard, Ohio to the late Hubert and Jean Ketchum. Cindy attended the South Pemiscot Schools and graduated in 1965. In 1966, she married Barry Ray. Born into this union were two sons Kevin and the late David Ray. She later prepared herself for teaching school and she taught for 20 years in Luxora, Arkansas. She was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist in Steele where she taught Sunday school. She was a volunteer for the Blytheville Humane Society. Most of all she was a big, big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

She leaves her husband Barry of the home, a son Kevin and his wife Mary Ann of Jonesboro, Arkansas and one grandson Alec Ray of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Preceded in death was a son David and one brother Richard “Dickie” Ketchum.

A memorial service was held Saturday August 11, at 1:00 P.M. at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist in Steele, Missouri with Pastor Todd Nollam officiating. John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of the services.
