Eileen Sheila McCormick

Eileen Sheila McCormick, 83, of Monette, has reunited with the love of her life, the late Mr. Frank Laverne McCormick, Sunday, July 1, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family at home. Born Dec. 30, 1934, in Soham, Cambridgeshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Horace Sydney and Mary Ann Sarah Griggs. Mrs. McCormick absolutely loved to spend time showering her children with love. She was a dedicated mother, wife and friend. She was a member of Monette Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by two of her five children, Linda Lesley McCormick of Monette and David Wayne McCormick of Manila.

She is survived by her children, Thomas James and wife Sarah McCormick of Lake City, Melodie Joy and husband Mark Matayabas of Monette, Danny Keith and wife Tina McCormick of Manila, Christopher Jest and wife Amber McCormick of Paragould; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Faith Funeral Service Chapel, Manila, with Minister Josh Parnell officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Visitation for family will be from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, July 5, and 5-7 p.m. for friends.

Pallbearers are Grayson Blake, A.J. Jorn, Josh McCormick and Brother Rick Copeland. Honorary pallbearers will be Ervin McCormick and Pastor Mark Matayabas.
