Terry Bill, 80, of Manila, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Unity Health/Harris Medical Center in Newport. Born in Memphis, he was the son of the late Arthur and Emily Hepburn Bill and had lived most of his life in Memphis. A graduate of Southside High School in Memphis, Terry later received journalism and broadcasting degrees from Memphis State University. He had served in the U.S. Army and also worked as a disc jockey for WEZI Easy Listening Radio in Memphis and KFIN Radio in Jonesboro. Terry also worked several years as a videographer for the Arkansas State University football program. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Bunch Bill; a daughter, Melanie Clindenin; and a sister, Nancy Bill Pierini.

Survivors include one grandson, Matthew Clindenin and wife Lindsey of Lumberton, Miss.; two nieces, Delano Miller and Darla Russell; one nephew, David Miller. He also leaves a special sister-in-law and caretaker, Sharon Bunch of Manila.

Funeral service was 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial followed in Manila Cemetery. The family received visitors from 2 p. m. until service time.
