Gary Wayne Edwards

Gary Wayne Edwards, 64, of Horseshoe Lake, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. He was born in Blytheville on October 23, 1953 to Bruce and Ruth Stabbs Edwards. He was a graduate of Blytheville High School.

Gary was the owner of Crosstown Liquor store in Blytheville from 1986 until 2012 when he retired. He enjoyed fishing, and going to sports games. He loved the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to spend time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren who called him “PawPaw Whiskers.”

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Edwards, of Horseshoe Lake;

Five sons: Steven (Athena) Edwards, Scott (Candis) Edwards, Chris (Becky) Edwards, Logan (Heaven) Edwards, and Timothy Edwards;

Seven grandchildren: Eryn Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards, Mallory Edwards, Addison Edwards, Harley Edwards, Hadley Edwards, and Cooper Edwards;

And many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 7th, at 6:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville. Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
