Dorothy Mae Walker

Dorothy Mae Walker, 89, of Osceola died April 19, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born March 12, 1929 in to Doc Crawford and Viola Bell. Ms. Walker was a retired cook for the school system, a member of Pilgrim Rest MB Church, Mother Board and Usher Board. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband. W.J. Walker and one son, Jerry Walker. She is survived by six sons, Therman Walker of Chicago, Melvin Walker of San Francisco, Lawrence Walker and Ervin Walker of Osceola, Nathaniel Walker of Davenport, Iowa and Brodrick Walker of Atlanta, four daughters, Shirley Rocket and Barbara Walker of Davenport, Iowa, Diane Pugh of Osceola and Crystal Walker of Blytheville, thirty six grandchildren, a host of great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest MB Church in Osceola with burial at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Rev. Cleveland Cain is officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
