Mr. Julies “Foots” Jackson Jr., 81, of Blytheville passed away April 15, 2018. He was born April 17, 1936 in Flora, Mississippi, to the late Julies Jackson, Sr. and Elizabeth "Gully" Jackson. He lived most of his life in Aurora, Illinois and worked for 25 years at Lyon Metal in Montgomery, Illinois, before his retirement on July 13, 1992. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann of Blytheville; his children; sons, Robert (Shirley) Martin, Darryl (Jeanette) Jackson, both of Aurora, and Anthony (Laura) Jackson of Blytheville; daughters, Edna Jackson of Shreveport, Eula (William) Jackson of Lansing, Alice (Charlie James) Jackson of Blytheville, Monica (Anthony) Tucker-Merriweather of Texas, Tammy (Mark) Lipsey of Modesto, Cal., Carita and Carisa Tucker of Texas and Florida and Jamie (Isaac) Johnson of Blytheville; brother, Walter Jackson of Blytheville; twenty grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Julies Jackson III and Melvin Jackson; brothers, Lee Otis Jackson, James Jackson, Odis Jackson, and Jeff Jackson; and sister, Alice White. Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Saturday, April 28 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Blytheville with the funeral services immediately following. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Blytheville. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
