Ray Junior Smith

Ray Junior Smith, 87, of Tyronza died April 16, 2018 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born January 25, 1931 in Waterloo, Alabama to Ott and Susie Terry Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired farmer and a member of Upper Room Apostolic in Tyronza. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Louise Smith, three brothers, Bill Smith, Hoss Smith and Delmer Smith, two sisters Frances Crawford and Helen Tyree. He is survived by one son, Charles (Pamela) Smith of South Bend, Indiana, one daughter, Margie Lawson of Marion, three brothers Dick Smith of Waterloo, Rollen Smith of Tyronza, and Ott Smith, Jr of Osceola, one sister, Beadie May Kelly of Waterloo, five grandchildren, Jeremy Smith and Amanda Clanton of Walkerton, Indiana, Melissa Bernhoft and Thomas Lawson of Memphis, and Elizabeth Holmes of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Upper Room Apostolic in Tyronza. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza. Bro. Dewayne Johnson is officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge.
