Shirley Fowler Andrews, 79, of Blytheville passed away Wednesday April 4, 2018 at Heritage Square Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Blytheville. She was born July 29, 1938 in Promisland community. Shirley was the daughter of Earnest and Addie Jenkins Fowler.

She confessed her hope in Christ becoming a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in the Promiseland community. She was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the choir serving as their President, the Mother’s Board as well as other auxiliaries in the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jessie Andrews.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Jessie Andrews of Blytheville, one daughter, Connie Stevenson (Shelly Gillespie) of Blytheville, five sisters, JoAnne Fowler, Judy (Pete) Thomas, Sybil Fowler, Margaret Davis all of Blytheville, Ar. And Shirley (Robert) Day of Oklahoma City, OK. ten brothers, Earnest (Virginia) Fowler, Jr., Quincy (Ethel Jean) Fowler, Luster (Rosetta) Fowler, Grady (Linda) Fowler, Brady, (Lulu) Fowler, Larry (Earnestine) Fowler, Clifton (Gloria) Brown, Chester (Sherry) Brown all of Blytheville, AR, Wilbert Brown of West Memphis, AR and Michael (Annie) Fowler of Indianapolis, IN, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Prince of Peace Church, 501 East McHaney Street, Blytheville. Reverend Terrell Rogers is the pastor. Reverend Frederick Clay, Sr. will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, AR.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McDonald-Horne Funeral.
