Gary Ronald Moore

Monday, February 19, 2018

Mr. Gary Ronald Moore, 60, of Blytheville passed away early February 18, 2018. He was born on January 21, 1958 to James Frazier Moore and Rosa Lemons Moore. He was a graduate of Blytheville High School, and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Mr. Moore was an outdoors person. He loved camping, cooking out, fishing for catfish in the Mississippi River, and trips to Florida each year. As a young man he really enjoyed going to wrestling matches, and he collected wrestling posters as well as skeleton keys.

For many years, he always had a Doberman that he treated as if it were his child.

Family says that he was a big cut-up and always put on a happy face, even if things were not always great. He liked the music of the 80's and he loved to dance and have a good time. Another of his favorite pastimes was shooting pool.

He was a lifelong resident of Blytheville. He spent most of his adult work life in factories. He had worked for Nibco with his two brothers, and then worked in customer service at WalMart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ada Ruth Perkins Bales; and a brother, Jackie Moore.

He is survived by seven siblings:

one brother: James Moore, Jr. of Blytheville;

and six sisters:

Dorothy King (and Sonny) of Ponchatoula LA;

Pauline Farley (and Arnold) of Beckley W. VA;

Betty Schmidt (and Danny) of Mattoon IL;

Sharon Glasscock of Bay AR;

Debra Priest of Springdale AR;

and Pam Arndt of Bay AR;

and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
