Carolyn Kay Gillespie

Carolyn Kay Gillespie, Manila, was born March 21, 1948, in Dyess to Cecil and Helen Easterling Garner. She was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Gillespie passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 69.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Gillespie of Manila; one son, Johnny (Sandra) McCammon of Caraway; three daughters, Rhonda Bonee of Savannah, Tenn., Kim McCammon of Manila and Stephanie (Craig) Teague of Manila; two brothers, Dale Garner of Monette, Mo., and Tommy Garner of Trumann; four sisters, Mary Jensen of Queen Creek, Ariz., Teresa Hamilton of Nacogdoches, Texas, Patty Bradford of Southaven, Miss., and Cathy Dees of Trumann; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jerry Garner and Sonny Garner.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola, with Bro. Scotty Riley officiating.
