Mr. William Rodgers Moore

Mr. William Rodgers Moore, 70, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

William was born in Asheville, North Carolina and was an industrial salesman. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. William served one year in Vietnam and spent the rest of his life getting over it. He collected model planes, especially World War II planes. William loved dogs and fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

William leaves his wife, Ilene Bunn Moore of the home; step-son, Mark McGruder of Kennett, Missouri; sister, Pam Cooper (Jan) of Dickson, Tennessee; three step-grandchildren; two nieces; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.
