Roger Keith Washington

Mr. Roger Keith Washington, 54 of Blytheville passed away Thursday December 28, 2017 at NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born November 25, 1962 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Nathaniel and Selma Rogers Washington. Roger was a 1982 graduate of Blytheville High School. Following graduation he enlisted to serve his country in the United States Army and he also spent many years as a law enforcement officer.

He is preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Herman and Isiah Washington.

Roger is survived by his father, Nathaniel Washington of Blytheville; two sons, Michael Thomas and Gavin Washington, both of West Memphis; three sisters, Doris Ann Washington of Matthews, Mo., Sandra Almond of Jacksonville, Fla. and Martha (Ricky) Jefferson of Blytheville; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial services for Roger Keith Washington will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday January 6, 2018 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1255 South 9th Street, Blytheville. Pastor Howard Smith, III will deliver the eulogy.
