Allen Scott

Mr. Allen Scott, 43, of Marion passed away November 27, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born August 31, 1974 to Samuel Scott and Dorothy Stevens Wight in Blytheville. He was an insurance agent, a part-time mental healthcare case manager, and a Member of World Overcomers in Memphis, Tennessee.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dorothy Stevens (Doug) Wight of Luxora; wife, Nakitha Scott of Marion; two sons, Brian Samuel Scott and Jalen Rashawn Scott of Conway; five brothers, Samuel (Joyce) Scott of Little Rock, Marcus (Sandra) Canty of Memphis, Tenn., Eric (Ilene) Canty of Gosnell, Anthony (Laura) Frazier of Santamonica, Calif. and Alex (Prencilla) Scott of Osceola; four sisters, Lillie (Ray) Price of Paris, Calif., Mary (Freddy) Byrd of Osceola, Lisa (Mike) Smith and Dina (Terry) Price, both of Memphis, Tenn. and one grandson, Kaeven David Scott of Conway.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Scott; two brothers, Danny and Mickey Scott and one sister, Georgia Daniels.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Superintendent Johnny Moore officiating. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
