Holly Grove -- Regina Hatch, 61, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 in Stuttgart. She was born July 8, 1956, to the late Elvis Lee and Edna Lucille Goodman Poe Sr. She was director of nursing at the Women’s Center. She had worked at Lakeside Nursing Home, Manila Nursing Center and Methodist/Baptist Hospital for over 18 years. Regina was named Director of Nursing of the year in 2010 for the State of Arkansas.

She enjoyed reading, fishing, needlepoint and doing crossword puzzles. She did everything she could to take care of her family. At the early age of eight, she knew she wanted to be a nurse.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hatch, and a daughter, Brandi Clay.

She is survived by her sons, Brooks Hatch (Laurel) of Caraway and Andy Hatch of Holly Grove; three brothers, Elvis Poe, Jr. (Janet) of Brookland, James Poe (Judy) of Lake City and Mark Poe (Christina) of Black Oak; a sister, Janice McClelland (Jim) of Guntersville, Ala.; grandchildren, Jasmyn Clay of Jonesboro, Dalton Clay and Fletcher Clay, both of Memphis, Lilie Hatch, Macie Hatch and Stella Hatch, all of Monette, Easton Hatch, Brooklyn Hatch and Britton Hatch, all of Caraway; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Rev. Jerry Reed and Elvis Poe Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Greg Poe, Chris Poe, Ethan Poe, Jeremy Poe, Jamey Wallace, Bryan Poe and Matt McClelland.
