Eddie Henderson

Eddie Lee ( Fast Eddie), Henderson was born November 27, 1942 in Armorel Arkansas to Mr. Elijah and Mrs. Dellier Henderson. Eddie departed this life on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Albert, Robert, Elijah Jr., Freddie, and Willie Henderson; two sisters, Flossie L, and Pearlie Mae.

Eddie loved life and lived it to the fullest. He never complained about having a “bad day.” If life handed him a lemon, he’d make lemonade. Eddie met everyone with a smile on his lips and an amusing story to tell. He genuinely loved everyone and wasn’t too proud to show it.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Rosie Lee Henderson of Blytheville, AR; six sons, Robert (Rita) Crawford of Phoenix, AZ; Lonnie (Verlean) Campbell of Centerville, IL; Melvin (Patsy) Callicott of Jonesboro, AR; Frederick (Tarona) Mitchell of, Texarkana, AR; James Furlow of Sacramento, CA. and Darryl (Angie)Culler of Jonesboro, AR, six daughters: Cordia (George) Lacey, of Fairview Heights, IL; Jessica Campbell and Erma Campbell, of San Hosea, CA; Rebecca Soni and Deborah Burns of Blytheville, AR Janice (Jerome) Brown of Memphis, TN; , three brothers, Bennie(Geraldine) Henderson, of Phoenix, IL, Jerry( Stella) Henderson, and Jesse ( Sabrina) Henderson both of Blytheville, AR., a special granddaughter he raised Portia Callicott, and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Chapel. Services will be held on Saturday September 16, 2017 at Mt, Moriah Baptist Church at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
