Robert Neal Petty
Mr. Robert Neal Petty, 88, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Robert was born in Hardin County, Tennessee to Harvey and Addie (Ross) Petty. He was a retired pharmaceutical representative for McKesson and Robbins and was a member of First Baptist Church. Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed playing golf but his greatest love and joy was spending time with his family and friends. Robert will be most remembered for his unfailing sense of humor, loyalty, and gentle spirit.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Yvonne Petty; his parents; two brothers, Ross and James Petty and a sister, Eloise Mote.
Robert leaves two daughters, Robin Truelove (Doug) of Blytheville and Dana Livingston Hills (Murray) of Boulder, Colorado; three grandchildren, Addie Livingston, Robert Truelove and Connor Livingston; one great-grandchild, Bella Truelove; two sisters-in-law, Marie Ross of Adamsville, Tennessee and Vera Petty of Sacramento, California and two cousins, Tommy Ross and Betty Rome.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 16 in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bill Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
